Moon Phase & Timing
The dark moon aligns with the realm of the dead, as both exist in the space beyond ordinary sight. This is when the beloved dead can draw closest to the living world.
Dark Moon: The veil is thinnest; spirits of the beloved dead can manifest most clearly and communicate most directly
Waning Crescent: The dying light serves as a lantern for spirits making the journey toward the living world
Samhain Dark Moon: If the dark moon falls near October 31st, the conjunction creates the most powerful ancestral communion of the year
